TRAVELING TO GREECE from June 1st:
USA: POSSIBLE DIRECT FLIGHT OPTIONS to/from GREECE: There are no direct flights between Greece and the United States at this time. Airlines that announced their summer flight plans (for more information click here)
- American Airlines: Chicago-Athens may start in early June.
- Emirates: Resumes Newark-Athens flights July 1. Every day from July the 1st : EK 210 departing at 11:55 pm arriving next day at 4:05 pm
- United: No Newark-Athens flights for the season.
- Delta Airlines (JFK - ATH): Every day from July the 2nd : DL 202 departing at 5:13 pm arriving next day at 10:00 am
LONG HAUL DESTINATIONS to Greece by LUFTHANSA Group: In the first half of June, the flight schedule also includes 19 long-haul destinations from Toronto, Mexico City, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Bahrain, Johannesburg, Dubai and Mumbai. The destinations Newark/New York, Chicago, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Bangkok will continue to be offered. In total, Lufthansa, SWISS and Eurowings will thus be offering more than 70 weekly frequencies overseas until mid-June, almost four times as many as in May.

AIR FRANCE WILL RESUME ITS FLIGHTS FROM PARIS TO ATHENS this month: Air France will increase the number of flights, gradually operating to Athens more in the weeks to follow.
In addition, from June 27, the airline will resume its connection from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with Heraklion, Crete, with one weekly flight.

NEW HEALTH PROTOCOLS FOR AIR TRAVEL to ensure that air travel in Greece is carried out as safely as possible for passengers and crew, during the post-Covid-19 period, were announced by the Greek Transport Ministry on Saturday May 16th.
